Le vertige de l’envers questions the different levels of perception of the world around us in a highly visual way, using illusionist and circus-like gestures.
Spectators enter a universe in which the laws of gravity and time can be reversed, expanded or abolished, shattering senses and emotions in a dreamlike, timeless moment.
Liquids metamorphose, weights lighten until they take flight, bodies float and balls escape their usual trajectories.
In this playful cosmos, even the fall is upside down.

L’Envolée Circus

Founded in 1997 by Michèle D’Angelo and Laurent Barboux, L’Envolée Cirque is a creative circus company made up of circus artists, musicians and technicians driven by the same desire: to share and exchange ideas around the circus arts. Based since its creation in Romainville (93), it offers shows under a big top and in situ.

In 2012, Pauline Barboux and Jeanne Ragu, aerial acrobats and graduates of L’Académie Fratellini, joined them in a desire to pool their resources and keep the company going.

Since then, together they have co-written several shows with the same ethos: innovative creations featuring the circus arts, accompanied by an original musical creation, for all audiences and in all territories.
