A woman facing a journey: “The heroine’s journey”. A psycho-tragic-comic evolution of a human being struggling with his inner and outer world.

The journey will pass through seven different rooms of his inner castle, starting from the main entrance to the room where the answer to his question is hidden. She will meet different people (from the past, present and future) and each of them will leave her something to take with her in her “backpack” during the journey. The public is invited to enter the theater, which is nothing more than the artist’s inner castle.

Little by little, she recognizes that her past is her story, not her destiny. Little by little, his whole world is revealed on stage like a “pop-up book” for children.

A show that speaks to the artist’s/woman’s real/invented biography in a positive and ironic way, or, perhaps, a show that represents something bigger than just a personal story and touches everyone deeply. A human look at humanity.

Trying to take a poetic look at this society, dealing with sociological and psychological subjects without emotional pathos, trying to look at the reality of this world in a different way, with a more inner look.

Marianne’s Company

Born on the first day of autumn 1988, under the sign of Libra (cusp with Virgo), surrounded by the sea of southern Italy, shaded by a burning sun and swept by strong winds, she first learned to make good cappuccinos. Then, realizing that this was not her main vocation and tired of receiving advice with phone numbers, she discovered the circle in the city of Rome.

She then specialized in Turin at the circus school “FLIC” and fell in love with the circus. She then went to France and joined the circus school “LE LIDO” in Toulouse. She then worked with the companies “GANDINI JUGGLING” (London), “GYNOÏDES PROJECT” (Sweden), with German cabarets and toured the world for 10 years with her solo “ONE MOMENT” and taught.
