These workshops aim to:
– Encourage children’s development through stimulation and play
– Develop motor skills, reveal new ones and thus gain in confidence
– Acquire spatial and temporal reference points
– Satisfy a need for autonomy while identifying notions of respect, mutual aid and trust
– Discover a cultural universe rich in sensations (auditory, visual, tactile)
Discovery is one of the driving forces behind the development of very young children. That’s why we propose to introduce them to a world that will awaken their senses and arouse their emotions. It’s all about sharing moments of pleasure in a warm, reassuring environment (familiar surroundings and the presence of adults). They can confidently explore, play, interact and, in short, take part in the new experience offered by these early-learning and fine-motor skills workshops using juggling and object manipulation.
And as they grow, small children develop both fine and gross motor skills. The medium of juggling and object manipulation is particularly well-suited to support them in this dual development. We offer workshops combining these two types of motor skills, training young children through play to crawl, run, climb and jump using their whole body, but also to use their hands to make precise movements to catch, grasp, reach and manipulate different types of objects. Each session follows a precise progression, starting with a phase of discovery of the equipment. Then comes the time for experimentation and appropriation of the equipment (free use with little guidance), and finally the time for acquisition (through small games, simple exercises with one or two instructions, motor skills courses, stories, songs, mini-presentations). At the end of the session, a moment of relaxation helps to restore calm.
