The Sphere: Call for projects!
How does it work?
Two creations – which we call “seed performances” – were chosen by our network of circus art professionals and enthusiasts. They are now ready to hatch again and be re-created with a budget of 10.000 Euro and 11 ETH. The partners Maison des Jonglages (Paris) and Cordata F.O.R (Turin) offer creation residencies for this purpose.
Once you have discovered the artists’ works and the message they are sending you, you are invited to send a project and join our network, where you can exhibit your work and enter into dialogue with other artists.
Are you interested? To participate, simply :
1. Look at these creations:

Does something resonate with you? Great! You can now go further…
2. Read the artists’ love letter carefully (see bottom of page)
If you vibrate with them, then…
3. Write a short statement of intent at info@thesphere.as
You will then be invited to join The Sphere’s Discord network, where you will have access to special channels containing archives of seed performances, all the material needed to start imagining new iterations derived from the works.
4. Once you have explored the material available and feel ready to go further, you will be invited to submit a first version. At the end of the incubation process, the public invested in The Sphere will select the winning projects through a quadratic voting process.
