The SAVS (service d’accompagnement à la vie sociale – social support service) provides support to help people develop their independence. It helps maintain or restore family, social, school, university or professional ties. It facilitates access for disabled people to all the services offered by the community. It helps weave a network of partners necessary for homecare.
The SAVS supports beneficiaries in their daily lives.
It offers support in an open environment for adults, men and women, with disabilities, whether working or not, most of whom have an intellectual disability, with or without associated disorders, and who have chosen to live in an ordinary environment. Beneficiaries must first have been referred to the SAVS by the CDAPH (Commission des droits et de l’autonomie des personnes handicapées).
