Tira is a game, it’s the curiosity of establishing new frontiers in one’s own world. It’s drawing boundaries for the sake of breaking them.
Tira is sincerity, it’s the complicity of looks, in a word it’s benevolence.
Tira, it’s transformation, a rope becomes everything: the kiss from grandma that you hated so much as a child, the caress from someone who’s no longer there, the realization that you’re not the woman they expected you to be, but in the end it’s not so bad…
La Barque Acide
La Barque Acide is a company born in 2018 in Toulouse, from the 25th promotion of Le Lido. This company debuted at La Grainerie in 2021 with The end is nigh! a quirky, ironic, sensitive and multidisciplinary show. 2 new projects are currently being created: Croquette corps cornichon by Stéphanie and Camille Bontout-Mouat and Tira by Carla Carnerero Huertas and Maria Celeste Funghi.
