In this solo creation, through his own chimeras and fantasies, Nicolas Longuechaud retraces and shares with the spectator the singular history of a circus, HIS circus. Made of collective memory and inspired by more or less true stories, for the character of the play everything is mixed up a bit. At the border between graphic and hypnotic manipulations, mime and new magic, this show opens the door to a singular and dreamlike universe.

Longshow Company

As a manipulator of objects, curious about shapes, kinetic properties and optical effects, he creates his own language on the bangs of juggling and imbued with his visual arts eye. He is particularly interested in making the possible manipulations induced by the object transpire. Nicolas Longuechaud takes on different roles. He reinvents the figure of the knife thrower, the tamer and the “freaks” dear to Todd Browning. The Longshow Company has been accompanied since its beginning by L’Envolée Cirque, within the framework of artistic exchanges, administrative support and mutualization of skills.
