La Maison des Jonglages is offering a class from the Lycée professionnel Belliard a juggling workshop and an introduction to the creation of small numbers as part of the Physical Education and Sports program.

[Intervenant·e·s]

The objectives of this project are:

– Introduction to juggling

– Immerse students in the world of a professional artist, explore this world physically, and use the motor skills developed in class to build a number.

The class will take part in 5 2-hour sessions with juggler Axel Chippi Martinez. The students, immersed in the artist’s world and techniques, will create their own numbers, which will be presented during the final 2-hour session.
We’ll be using classical and alternative juggling objects and techniques to teach juggling through play, rather than in a purely technical and disciplinary way. Students will also learn about rhythmic writing techniques. An outing on the show
Searching for John
is also planned as part of the tour, enabling students to draw inspiration from this world too.
