As part of the PEAC projects run by the town of Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, the Maison des Jonglages is offering a series of juggling discovery and practice workshops for a class of kindergarteners at the Nelson Mandela school. During this project, children are encouraged to juggle both classic and misappropriated objects. They learn to tell stories using these objects, and experiment with their expressive properties.

This course is designed to:
– Increase children’s motor skills (improve coordination and dissociation, perception, anticipation, etc.)
– Develop physical abilities (tone, balance, flexibility, skill).
– Develop affective and relational abilities: communicate and work with others, cooperate, seek out and control risk, accept to show others, be able to watch others, perform a number together.
– Encourage concentration and self-confidence. Encourage concentration and self-confidence.
– Develop cognitive skills: understanding, memorizing, creating through originality.
The class will attend the show Monsieur O by the CaKtus company, scheduled as part of the Rencontre des Jonglages festival on May 13, 2025.
