Aurélie Ruby


Aurélie Ruby is an actress and director.

After studying literature, Aurélie Ruby trained in acting at the Studio d’Asnières and at the École Supérieure professionnelle de Limoges. She has performed under the direction of various directors and with Mickael Lonsdale and Jean-Claude Drouot. As an assistant to Eric Lacascade and Yves Beaunesne, she has staged her own shows, adapting Dostoyevsky, Brecht and Camus.

In 2015 she led the Winter Guests project, a show in which young Syrian refugees testify, which was the subject of a documentary by Vanessa Rousselot. She leads various workshops in France and abroad on the themes of exile, the border, combining literature, journalism and testimony.

She was selected in May 2017 to participate in the Visitor Leadership program Promoting Social Change through The Arts.
