Smashed is 9 jugglers, 80 apples, 4 sets of dishes, and a soundtrack that ranges from Tammy Wynette to Bach to Music-Hall.

Smashed is a sensational blend of virtuosity in movement: inspired by Pina Bausch’s Tanztheatre, Smashed is a succession of tableaux vivants, like old photographs evoking war, lost love and the old-fashioned charm of afternoon tea.

Gandini Juggling

Founded in 1992 by jugglers Sean Gandini and Kati Ylä-Hokkala, Gandini Juggling has never ceased to reinvent and invigorate the art of juggling, writing new forms for an ever-contemporary circus.

Going ever further in their aesthetic research without renouncing the generosity of a show shared with all, introducing the language of dance into their narrative approach without renouncing the playfulness of the circus arts, Gandini Juggling tirelessly continues to create without setting limits. Since their debut, the Gandinis have performed over 5,000 times in more than 50 countries. They perform at numerous festivals and prestigious venues around the world. Their art transcends cultural barriers: watching people evolve while holding objects in the air is a spectacle in itself, the pleasure of which is shared the world over.
