Ce(s) Petit(s) Moi(s) – Triptych of 3 small forms – Act II “En tête à tête avec mon être” (“Face to face with my being”)

Ce(s) petit(s) moi(s) is a wordless poetic triptych combining hat juggling and contemporary puppetry.
The show invites us to question the different states of the “I”.
It revives the great Cartesian question of the duality of mind and body.
For the creation of this second part, we want to deal with the relationship to the self by developing a language centered on the figure of the double.
Using several techniques from highly codified artistic fields that correlate with the symbolism of movement (juggling, puppetry and choreography).
To make the most of the “disembodied” technique of the juggling act, we deconstruct juggling’s own script so that the manipulated objects take their full place in the dramaturgy.
Our aim is to highlight the constructions and deconstructions of stage figures.
In this way, bodies and objects take possession of the spaces in which they are manipulated, with a view to revealing the different points of view of the protagonists.
In this way, notions of conflict, power relations and the erasure of one by the other are at the heart of the artistic intent of this second part. “Put the hat a little too far back, you look cheeky, put it too far forward, you look sly, sideways, the air becomes cavalier…. “Balzac , Lost Illusions, 1843

Arts Légèrement Gesticulés Company The “Arts Légèrement Gesticulés” (A.L.G) company was officially created in 2023 by artists Amélie Le Gars and Romain Noel.
Somewhere between contemporary circus, gestural theater and contemporary puppetry, A.L.G. is part of a cross-disciplinary approach to the performing arts, all of which share a common dramaturgy of movement.
The process of hybridization between the various artistic fields enables them to explore new aesthetics.
Two projects are currently underway: Ce(s) petit(s) moi(s): Triptych of puppet juggling (Création 2025) La tête dans le chap (working title): Juggling duo using mask technique, blind manipulation of hats and balls, and passing in all its forms.
