Invited by the Maison des Jonglages and the city of Bobigny, Idriss Roca has set up shop in Bobigny, inviting residents of the Grand Quadrilatère and Écocité neighborhoods to become members of the committee for the dissemination of Sport Extrême d'Appartement.

A series of workshops is offered to various groups, including women and families supported by the Le Village and Joséphine Baker social centers, STAPS students from Paris 13 University, and children and their leaders from the Simone Weil and Marcel Cachin leisure centers.

From a practice of PLAY – with a capital J, a capital E, and a capital U – and around the manipulation of typical and atypical objects, let’s reconcile ourselves with the mad search for productivity. Let’s question our relationship with rules: how can the rule serve us, rather than itself?

Can you chase efficiency without going mad? In a playful context, by creating together competitive games of skill of varying degrees of absurdity, focusing on cooperation, devising rules, sharing strategies, being and having fun together.

Let’s rediscover the little feats, the little tricks, the everyday “hacks”, let’s remember together that we all have a silly little talent, and if we haven’t found it yet, let’s invent it!

To create in 2026 the first World Championship of Extreme Apartment Sports, where the best and the worst of these new disciplines will compete – Bungee Shooting, T-Shirt Folding, Competitive Bottle-Flip, Trickshot Race, it’s up to us to invent everything, and to teach each other the best strategies!

To celebrate the joy of human inventiveness, the creativity of a group having fun, to rediscover a profile that is ours, but which is tending to disappear: Productive human beings, yes, but freely and joyfully!

Work in progress on the show Rising Ape will be presented along the way, and one of the premieres of the finished show will take place in May 2026 as part of the Rencontre des Jonglages festival in Bobigny.
