The project

La Maison des Jonglages, an association under the 1901 law founded in 2008, aims to promote and recognize the richness and diversity of juggling today. Since 2015, it has been recognized as an Art and Creation, Juggling stage.

Over the years, the Maison des Jonglages has become a unifying epicenter through which the general public, performing arts professionals, artists and amateurs meet juggling companies, budding artists and ongoing projects.

Since January 2025, the Maison des Jonglages has been based in Bondy. From local to global and vice versa, the Jonglages stage is part of a variable-geometry network involving a multitude of partners and a wide range of audiences.

Directed today by Vincent Berhault, the Maison des Jonglages is recognized by jugglers, entertainment professionals and the general public as a resource center around the art of juggling. The association has 5 permanent employees who manage the activities throughout the year, around 5 main axes:

– Programming Partnerships – territories – new audiences (month-long festival in the Paris region with 13 partner structures, in-season programming, off-site programming).
– Creation aid : monitoring and expertise at the heart of the artistic project (residencies and co-productions).
– Artistic and cultural action A fine articulation between the works and the public (projects in schools and after-school programs, interventions in the social, medical and legal fields).
– Training
– Research and Development : propel Juggling to the frontiers of practices and knowledge (arts and sciences, arts and sports, juggling and visual arts, Jonglages magazine editorial project, documentary database, etc.).
