La mort en Grève is a poetic and socially conscious performance born of a utopian vision: a world where human ambition no longer kills and where Death itself goes on strike to defend the right to live.

Far from the frightening clichés, Death is revealed here in all its humanity, its eccentricity, and its doubts in the face of an eternal toil that has lost its meaning.

Brought to life on stage by an imposing figure and a duo from the afterlife, this production blends comedy, poetry, and chaos.

The show draws on the language of clowning, juggling, and acrobatics to illustrate the fragile balance of our existence.

A joyful and visually striking invitation to reexamine our relationship with time and to celebrate the precious value of life.

Duo Rosa Blanca (Soif Totale Collective)

This duo, from the Belgian contemporary circus collective Soif Totale, was formed in 2018 when the two met at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels.

Founded by Hugo Pernel and Ruben Olave Fontalva, the duo Rosa Blanca brings together two jugglers with complementary styles: Hugo’s physical and sonic grounding complements Ruben’s surrealist creativity.

Blending poetry, burlesque, and the absurd, they explore tragicomic juggling to tell stories drawn from everyday life.

Drawing inspiration from their backgrounds (French and Chilean) and their close bond, their works tackle current issues with a shared sense of humanity, constantly oscillating between laughter and emotion.
