There is a body that can carry it, get crushed, jump over it, balance on it, fall.

Seven times the language company

Cie Sept fois la langue is an emerging Franco-Swiss company at the crossroads of physical theater and circus created in 2021 by actors from the Jacques Lecoq school. Our work is based on the common desire for a collective theater, which is written together, which carries stories that we can love and recognize. The desire for a physical generosity on stage that everyone can enjoy, the desire for a human generosity, for contacts once the show is over

Leonore Danesi of Swiss and Italian origin is training between 2016 and 2019 in contemporary dance at the Tanzfabrik Berlin and in wire and clown at LeZarticirque CH. At the same time, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in ethnology and geography at the University of Neuchâtel CH. In order to enrich her approach to improvisation and stage writing, she enrolled in 2019 at the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris, from which she graduated in 2021.

In 2022, she created the company Sept fois la langue for her first creation, HOUL, with which she won the SSA-FARS prize for authors of the street arts in CH and she works as an actor for the Lanterne magique in Switzerland and Bête à bon dieu productions in France.
