A child’s postcard revives the memory of the man he has become 16 years later. A dialogue begins between them, caught between the Belgian border and the North Sea. One imagined his life in his homeland, the other has left it. Between a nostalgic look at the child they once were and an acid look at the adult they’ve become, they retrace the moments in their lives that brought them here. Between funny moments and more profound ones, À 2 kilomètres près is a juggled stroll, an invitation to look at oneself and laugh at oneself.

Compagnie Premier sur Liste d’attente was created in March 2025 around Florian Berthelot’s first project. À 2 kilomètres près, a circus and theater solo is scheduled for spring 2027.
The company is led by a duo: Valentin Mariani and Christophe Dussart.
