Cette nouvelle création se situe entre le cirque et l’art textile. Les artistes, en particulier ceux qui choisissent la manipulation d’objets comme leur spécialité, développent un certain point de vue sur les objets. FABRIC OF CIRCUS se donne pour mission d’examiner le « costume » sous cet angle également : Et si l’enveloppe corporelle portait elle-même l’objet, devenait l’objet lui-même ou influençait de manière significative la manipulation de l’objet parce qu’elle en fait partie ? Le costume devient un objet flexible qui entre en dialogue avec le corps. Néanmoins, le costume est considéré comme une œuvre d’art autonome.

Together they work in the experimental, transdisciplinary field of object manipulation. Both are trained product designers and have worked in the performance field for many years. This fusion of visual and performing arts enriches their work on stage. They have gained an international reputation through the constant development of various staff manipulation techniques. The association is also committed to the visibility and promotion of contemporary circus and object manipulation in and from Austria.
In 2017, their first full-length contemporary circus piece (one of the first in Austria) ‘TRUST IN TIME.INC’ premiered at the Wiener Neustadt Stadttheater.
