Mirages Radio

A being is revealed. He appears from behind a red velvet curtain. He walks towards us and starts to sing a song, but his gestures are strange. His body transforms, new arms grow on his ribs.

Who is he?

A crooner with dancing lovesongs? A gentle dreamer? A four-armed juggler? An illusion? A freak?

We’re not sure.

Probably a bit of all of the above.

Jomupo

Jomupo is a contraction of Jonglage-Musique-Poésie, in reference to the Oulipo (Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle), a group of authors of constrained literature. Like them, we invent the rules of the game that allow us to link circus and music. Our artistic approach is part of a transdisciplinary approach to contemporary circus. We seek to develop a language that blends circus, music and literature.
