A book entitled New Juggling Tricks written by Ellis Stanyon in 1901 refers to the stunt as “the shuffle”. This fundamental element of juggling is perhaps the most recognizable form of technique that everyone agrees is juggling. This show will explore new ways of juggling without ever doing anything but shuffle. Along the way, stories will be told about the nature of juggling itself, delving into the history, culture and philosophy surrounding the activity. The audience is invited to bring any questions they may have about juggling – they will have the opportunity to ask them during the show. Come and see this tribute to the stunt and to the very heart of juggling!
