Isaline Hugonnet and Yu-yin Lin are recent graduates of the CNAC in Châlons-en-Champagne.
Lôõk – Shu Chien Hung
Lôõk depicts someone’s inner struggles and loneliness. He tries to hide his dislike or negative emotions, and keeps changing his appearance to fit in with society’s expectations. Eventually, he finds himself trapped in a cycle from which there is no escape. Without dialogue, Lôõk uses facial expressions, body movements and transparent cigar boxes to create visual scenes. The aim is to invite the audience to take a look at the darker aspects of human nature, thus provoking empathy and reflection.
The Greatest Show On The Planet – Rosell Romo
We say we’re all equal, but tonight we’re not. You’ll have the chance to experience greatness, to see, if only for a moment, what it’s all about. Greatness is not simply a state of being, it’s an art that only a few masters can perfect.
Tonight, we have the supreme artist.
Impressive juggling performances with improbable tricks, a 50 kg ball, lots of dancing balls in his hands, his fiery charisma, the love of the audience… Ladies and gentlemen, meet the Great Rochev.
Tout va bien, les madeleines ont du goût – Florian Berthelot
And if the birth had taken place elsewhere, would we have had the same experience?
The din of the north as a starting spark
A single weapon: self-mockery of the passage of time
An intimate stroll from the top of the cliff to a family meal
A back-and-forth between agreement and disagreement over memories
Premature aging as an arrival
A final juggling attempt to revive what is no longer
And so it begins again, without end.
Nexus – Isaline Hugonnet & Yu-yin Lin
Nexus means the link or connection between two or more things. A central point, a point of convergence where different elements come together, a link between two points or a point between two jugglers.
Their research is characterized by several aspects, including the fusion of balls and diabolos, the deconstruction of juggles, and the creation of new objects inspired by their “classic” juggles.
The rhythm and gestures of each scene suggest different relationships between two people.
