Since 2022, the Maison des Jonglages and the Atelier du Plateau have been working together to co-produce and present collaborative works as part of evenings dedicated to experiments in the arts and sciences. The public is invited to enter a laboratory where researchers and artists will dialogue and then share their practices and their knowledge through new forms between art and scientific research.
Bogø – Johan Stockmar (juggler) & Guillaume Clayssens (philosopher)
The book is an interface between the material and immaterial worlds! In this art-science experiment, we explore this fantastic zone through which we pass to become readers, through a philosophical and circus-like exploration. How do you juggle words? How do we juggle books? How do we express our visceral need to read, especially today? What improbable physical gestures could we associate with this magnificent and singular story of the book?
In a world that now reads so differently, we’d like to think about and become one with the ever-amazing activity of reading. To this end, we invite you to our island of books, which we’ve christened: Bogø.
Gossiping Animals – Fabrizio Solinas (juggler & Hélène Courvoisier (teacher-researcher in neuroscience)
What is an animal? What is it to be human? Who is the other? And why is this so?
Neuroscience teacher-researcher Hélène Courvoisier and zoomorphic juggler Fabrizio Solinas were brought together to ask questions nobody had asked them, and give answers nobody wanted.
