The man balances a stick on different parts of his body, which sets him and the stick in motion.
The stick is moved and balanced by the man and doesn’t seem to have much to say on the subject.
Television lurks in the background, commenting on everything the man and stick do, dictating what the audience sees.
The spectators sit in their seats and try to follow the constantly changing rules of the game.

Stickman is essentially a piece about playing with sense and perception.
