Multiplex is Cirque Inextremiste’s first foray into the world of juggling.
Juggling in which technical performance is merely the entry point to something deeper: human sensitivity, the obsessions that shape our gestures, and the thoughts that run through us in spite of ourselves.

The show offers an intimate dive rather than a commentary on the world: a tender, strange and unsettling duet that tries, in its own way, to keep their worlds in balance.This show invites the audience to witness (and perhaps to become a little more involved in) this invisible struggle, where the stage becomes the terrain of a personal quest…

Le Cirque Inextremiste

Cirque Inextremiste is a contemporary circus company founded in 2009 around Yann Ecauvre, a self-taught artist with a committed, physical universe. From a collective born in 1998 (As Pa de Maïoun), the group develops a radical language combining extreme acrobatics, physical theater and biting humor.

The company’s symbol: the gas cylinder, an unstable, hijacked piece of equipment that has become an emblem of real risk-taking, imbalance and play.

Since its first creation Inextremiste in 2007 (based on a trampoline and gas cylinders), the company has been constantly pushing back the boundaries of the spectacular. Each show questions cooperation, commitment and the body in tension.
