Mr O

Mr. O is a dry, energetic little man who struggles with his red hoops to overcome his loneliness. A short, funny, absurd yet powerful piece, in which manipulation becomes dance, dance becomes play, with the hoops still in the middle and Mr. O, who becomes as red as they are. Quite simply, a little world that goes round and round!

Graduating from the Centre National des Arts du Cirque in 2004, Sylvain Julien navigates circus, dance, puppetry, theater, storytelling, music and magic. Over ten years ago, he seized upon the fabulous object of the hoop, exploring the relationship between his body and objects in a variety of spaces and universes.
