A multi-format juggling solo, in 4 colors: white, yellow, magenta, cyan.
A 4x4m inflatable transparent cube. “The jellyfish aquarium.
An abstract object, in which abstract art is made, in a non-abstract space, the public space.
When we watch something like juggling, we as the audience are put in the role of “explorer-rice”, the same role the artist had when exploring a new juggling technique for the first time. The audience finds itself in the shoes of an explorer, not in the jungle, but close to home; not with a wild animal, but with juggling.
Carlo Cerato
Carlo Cerato, living since 1995.
He discovered the circus at the age of 11, in Cuneo, thanks to the Fuma che ‘nduma association.
He attended the Flic circus school for two years, starting in 2015.
He enters the CNAC, the National Center for Circus Arts. He graduated in 2019.
He created the EDO Cirque company, winner of Circusnext in 2021, with Léon Volet and Ramiro Erburu.
He created the solo llabyellov in 2020 (premiered in 2023), whose short form participated in the 42nd Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain, 2023 (didn’t win anything :'( ).
In 2022, he began working as an outsider for Davide and Mattia Bonetti’s LAR duo (and was very happy to do so).
In 2026, his new project, ASTRAT, involving juggling, visual art, music, costumes and interviews, will see the light of day.
He tries to work mainly in south-east France, and north-west Italy: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria.
