Sinking Sideways is a young acro-dance collective exploring minimalist circus and choreography. Based-e-s in Belgium, the three acrobat-dancers, Xenia Bannuscher, Raf Pringuet and Dries Vanwalle, are looking for new ways to move together.
Their fascination with juggling is the starting point for their new performance.

. Except here, there’s nothing to throw but bodies! The trio’s very concrete research into movement, visual effects and the relationship between different bodies has enabled them to create a “human juggling act” that is as poetic as it is surprising.
Sinking Sideways
Sinking Sideways is a young Flemish contemporary circus collective. We are three dance acrobats working choreographically. The current company members are Xenia Bannuscher (Germany), Dries Vanwalle (Belgium) and Raf Pringuet (Belgium
They met at the Circus Department of Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam, NL) and specialize in dance acro. Xenia and Dries graduated in July 2020, Raf graduated in July 2021.
