Brochure 19th edition

Bondy brings us together again!

For the first time last year, Bondy became the heart of the Rencontre des Jonglages. Many of you turned out for this first edition. Coming from across the street or from the other end of Europe, you found warm places to meet, generous artists happy to discover Bondy, and activities to enjoy with your children and friends.
If we had to sum up the festival in its essentials, what could we add? Add, improve, that’s our watchword at the Maison des Jonglages, so once again this year we’re delighted to welcome you, with, we hope, even more joy and pleasure to share with you.

The program includes free shows in the streets, and low-price shows in the halls. There’s also a festival village on the esplanade Fuzier. Here, you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Meanwhile, children will continue to play, as they do all year round, in this space that’s so much theirs!
This year, on Tuesday May 12, for the first time, an entire day of the festival is organized for children: shows to see with the school, then games on the Place du 11 novembre and a show by pupils from the Camille Claudel school, followed by another at the end of the day organized for everyone with the Maison de quartier Brassens.

And then, starting in Bondy, the festival will spread out over most of May to neighboring towns (Bobigny, Noisy-le-Sec, Pantin, Les Lilas, Le Pré Saint-Gervais, Bagnolet, Montreuil, etc.), Paris and even further afield in Seine-et-Marne.

More than 20 nationalities are represented in the program, from the Ukraine to Taiwan, Ireland, Mozambique and Ecuador, so many cultures to share in Bondy, a town already so rich in cultural diversity. All these artists already knew that France was a land of circus, but now they understand that Bondy is fully part of it!

We’re looking forward to seeing you in spring, and wish you a great festival!
