Alone in her room, surrounded by newly-arrived furniture, M… invites the audience into her daily life, between video calls, social networking and intimate moments. Little by little, the boundary between reality and fiction is blurred. Acoustic and electronic music, voice, song, poetry and juggling come together. Moving objects, images and sounds compose a series of sensitive tableaux that question our connection to the digital world and the place of the imaginary in our lives.
Les Musiques à Ouïr
Les Musiques à Ouïr, founded in 1994 with the Campagnie des Musiques à Ouïr, has established itself in the world of jazz and improvised music thanks to the trio of Cyrille Sergé, Christophe Monniot and Denis Charolles.
For nearly 30 years, Les Musiques à Ouïr has been bringing together a host of artists to build projects that oscillate between reinterpretation of repertoires in the world of chanson and creative musical forms (combining jazz, improvisation, contemporary music, circus arts and digital arts).
By leading the spectator into territories of discovery and emancipation, their artistic approach gives rise to singular creations whose shifts can shake things up or bring people together, but always question and reinforce the place of live art in society. These creations have enabled them to make a lasting mark on the European artistic landscape.
Les Musiques à Ouïr is also involved in cultural awareness-raising initiatives, notably with schoolchildren, the socially-integrated and those living in isolation, as well as with the Ouïe-cyclette festival, which focuses on soft mobility, with the aim of emancipation and discovery for everyone.
