Perfect Timing is a show by two professional tightrope walkers, and yes, any object on stage is likely to land on their heads. Both deliberately put themselves in difficult situations, timed with extreme precision. Time becomes the dangerous aspect of their inventive games in the face of constant improbability. Their childish obsessions take them so far that they become circus feats.
Perfect Timing is a show that creates an intimate atmosphere between performers, spectators and audience members, sprinkled with a series of funny, absurd and implausible moments.
WCS Co.
Juan Duarte Mateos
Juan is a circus artist born in Uruguay, raised in Brazil, and professionalized in France. Self-taught, he specialized in different types of juggling, notably the contact ball. Theater and improvisation play a key role in his work.
In 2015 he trained as a circus actor at the Toulouse Le Lido Circus Arts Center. In 2016 he continued his juggling training with teacher Iris Ziordia. That same year he began a series of creative projects:
Tutti Frutti with Cie LPM, Copyleft and Juventud with choreographer Nicanor de Elia. In 2020 Juan begins a collaboration with Cie Little Garden to play the eccentric guide character in Mini Safari Expérience.
Namer Golan
Born in Jerusalem, Namer is a juggler, performer and multidisciplinary artist. He began juggling at the age of 12 and has been madly in love with it ever since.
In 2014, he founded Cie WCS with Danielle Cohen Levy. The company’s creations address broad themes through true stories and personal experiences told on stage. His first two shows, 23 Pensées Sur les Conflits and Out Of Space, are currently on tour.
His show Robert Walser – l’homme qui n’a rien remarquer is currently playing in theaters in Israel.
Namer also participated in the creation of REVOLT I and REVOLT II with the ON company, programmed as world premieres at the 2015 Marseille International Circus Arts Biennial.
In 2018, Namer moved to Toulouse. In 20201 He is training
“project formalization” at the ESACTO/LIDO circus arts school in Toulouse.
