Professional training

Alexis Rouvre

Simplicity as a driving force for originality.

Alexis Rouvre is a ball juggler, influenced by the practices of his contemporaries, he learned in particular from Stefan Sing and Jérôme Thomas. Since 2008, he has been developing a personal work around the manipulation of ropes. Object manipulation in connection with a full and precise bodily involvement is a line of work/research that he has been exploring ever since.

Professional Training

Emilia Tau

Antipodism is a juggling practice where traditionally the juggler uses a bench (trinka) to manipulate objects with his feet. From 2001, Emilia Tau developed a technique of antipodism with juggling balls and contributed to the renewal of this art, using an object hitherto little used in antipodism. She was thus able to invest the space without the trinka and used the siteswap and other methods specific to juggling for the creation of patterns in solo and in duo. Means that gave him more freedom in composition and expression. At the same time, she has developed a pedagogy specific to this technique.

Professional Training

Watanabe Hisashi

Hisashi Watanabe is a Japanese juggler who plays in Yokaï by Cie Defracto. He practices extremely atypical juggling by mixing the body in an intense way. The course can also be open to tightrope walkers or contortionists. Rarely present in France, we take advantage of its presence in Europe as part of Yokaï, to organize this masterclass.
