Alejandro Escobedo


A French-Chilean stage artist, he has been navigating between juggling and clowning for over 20 years. In 2013 he met Raphaëlle Boitel with whom he has since worked in the company L’Oublié(e) for the creations “Consolations ou Interdiction de Passer par Dessus Bord”, “5es Hurlants” and “Un contre Un”. His virtuoso and clownish juggling is greeted by the Special Prize of the Jury during the 38th World Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow in the fabulous Cirque Phénix in Paris. And in 2021 he joins the mythical show Slava’s Snowshow under the direction of the famous Slava Polunin.

Trained in clowning, mime, masks and acting at the La Mancha Theater School in Santiago, Chile, at the Lyon Circus School and at the Académie Fratellini, from which he graduated with a DNSP, he also holds a DEE in Circus Arts pedagogy from the CNAC.

In 2018 with the complicity of Anne Kaempf he mounts his first long format show “Une Balle de ma Tête”. Collaborating with international companies: Les Objets Volants by Denis Paumier, La Mancha by Rodrigo Malbran, Geneva Camerata by David Greilsammer… He meets the cinema with the main role of the film FOAM HEART of the young Ukrainian director Igor Gavva, and participates in productions for Netflix, ARTE concert, France 3. Engaged in Social Circus, he co-founded with Dr. Maddly Guillaume the association J’ai Mal Partout – Cirque Médical, with whom he is working to create a new show CIRCO INFINITO. Since 2022, he has been regrouping all these previous artistic projects within the Cirque Cosmique.
