La quatrième hypothèse

It is a juggler’s attempt to realize every single one of his ideas in order to solve the eternal question that is close to his heart: what is the essence of juggling? The stage becomes a research space in which a series of experiments take place that confront the theory of the researcher with the reality of the juggler. With the help of his accomplice, the juggler becomes the guinea pig of his own scientific reflections, which end up spilling over into the absurd, the implausible and the poetic.

These experiments materialize in the form of various tools and technological devices that seek to make visible the invisible that is hidden in the juggled movement. This investigation into the heart of the juggling gesture is the result of the infinite curiosity of its protagonist, who is basically more interested in the path than in the answer, because he knows very well that behind the answer is always a new question!

Platatà Company

A curious circus company born from the meeting between Danielo Amaya and Paulo Perelsztein, two jugglers with different life stories and experiences, yet with a striking affinity in life and on stage. We start creative processes in which transdisciplinarity is the boat, the circus is the wind, and curiosity is the helmsman! Thus, we count with numerous collaborators from different fields of expertise to form a team with a beautiful diversity, and yet with only one goal: to create synergies using the circus as a common language.
